What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I would use IPC Media to distribute my magazine, they are one of the UK's most successful producers and they have subcategories for which they target their magazine audiences. They do not already distribute a magazine like mine, so far their music magazines target classic and contemporary music. They are one of the biggest companies in the world which could help to expand my selling point, using IPC would not affect the managment significantly so there would be no drastic adjustments. There will probably be an online version of the magazine which will be more convenient for buyers who would otherwise have to go out of their way to a store to buy the magazine. Also there would be a radio station (and an online version) which would play the genres of music shown in the magazine and this would attract listeners as they would not have to wait like they would with more diverse radio stations.

Hearing Damage Front Cover Evaluation

My media products front cover has a colour scheme of 3, white, yellow and black. The masthead is in bold capital letters which helps it to seem quite loud which is the idea as it has been named Hearing Damage. I have used only 3 images on my front cover and I took the main picture myself and edited it. I have put a pull quote under my main cover line because I want to give my audience a little sample of what is inside to capture their attention. My main sell line Get your band signed! was used because the audience I am aiming for consists of young aspiring musicians and they will take any chance they can get. I used the caution tape behind my text because I think that it also directs it in the correct direction of my audience, they like risks and danger, breaking the rules, so by passing the caution tape they have gone into a danger zone.
